Pieces sometimes feature drips running off the page and bold backgrounds, while others are more minimal to let your pet shine. My watercolor pet portraits capture your pet’s soul with detailed eyes, and breathe life into the form of the pet with expressive yet controlled brushstrokes.
To create a piece that will last a lifetime, my work is done completely by hand using the finest quality materials. After drawing your pet, I transfer the image to heavyweight watercolor paper. Then, I use professional watercolor pigments to bring your pet to life. My pallet includes colors from Windsor and Newton, M. Graham, and Daniel Smith. To finish the piece I seal it with a UV resistant clear matte spray.
