Hillary isn’t afraid of a challenge; experimenting, exploring, and combining many styles. With three years tattooing experience and 15 years as an artist, she is committed to making you a creative and unique tattoo. Inclusivity and empathy are core beliefs, as she wants everyone to feel comfortable and confident in their skin.

Hillary lives in the East Village, NYC, with her rescued alien dog Spock, and tattoos at Lowdown Tattoo in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.

    Hillary has an innate perceptive ability that she’s able to summon to bring out the best in your ideas and express them with her absolutely kaleidoscopic vision and technical skill. I came to Hillary with the nearly incoherent desire for a tattoo that blends a Salvador Dali painting with a deep distrust of technology, as symbolized by the windows 95 logo. Her design floored me, as did the final tattoo, which I am giddily pleased with every time I look at it. She’s an artist who hasn’t been corrupted by social media whims, and who has developed a style distinctly her own. A tattoo from her is a work of art, not a fleeting trend.

    I was scrolling through Instagram when I saw a few of Hilary’s designs and completely fell in love with this two-headed snake design she created, she was so kind and flexible with scheduling and took the time to refine the piece before going ahead with ink.
